Element type - Role What is this? Definition: A Role is a description of the profile (skills, knowledge and experience) that is necessary for a Person to carry out a task. Types - Job is a description of a (set of) position(s) in an
Organization (the job title usually appears in visit cards). Some examples are CEO, HR manager, HR executive, etc... A job is filled by a Person and can be split into several Roles (of any type but Job) - Profile Profile needed for a worker to carry out a piece of work. For example: Interviewer (in the recruitment process), Recruiter (in the recruitment process), Incident reporter (in the incident management process). Some examples are: Incident owner, finance process owner, etc...
- Generic Role It is usually reused in several Roles of type Job. Some examples are Worker, Line manager, Director, etc...
- Tool user type User type with the necessary grants to carry out a piece of work. For example, admin, editor, etc...

- Job level: If your organization uses some kind of level classification for the different jobs, you can asign one using this property.
- Classification: You can use the International Standard Classification of Occupations clasification as a guide.
- Substitute: Job covering this one when not available.
