During the Execution and Control Process the work defined in the Project Management Plan is completed.

The Project Manager directs and manages the project execution making sure that the necessary quality level is attained.

In this process the Project Manager:

• Acquires the Project Team
  
• Executes the Procurement Plan
• Elaborates the Project State Report
  
• Collects the Change Request
• Identifies Corrective Actions and Preventive Actions

The Project Manager directs and manages the execution and control of the Project Management Plan, making sure that the necessary quality level is attained.

To Execute the Project Management Plan the Project Manager has to:

• Ensure the development of the Deliverables

To Control the Execution the Project Manager has to:

• Elaborate the Project State Report including the Schedule Performance Index and the Cost Performance Index
